Forgive me, I'm 6 months pregnant and must have pancakes for dinner tonight. I'm looking for a restaurant that serves breakfast all day - with fabulous pancakes of course. Preferably around mid-city to west LA.

My D.I.L. found great, comforting pancake breakfasts at Cafe 50's on Santa Monica Blvd in West L.A., when she was greatly pregnant.

West LA deli's would be good choices for all day breakfast. Junior's on Westwood Blvd. @ Pico Blvd. or Nate 'n Al's in Beverly Hills have good breakfasts. Du-par's at the permanent Farmer's Market @ 3rd and Fairfax is open 24/7 and offers breakfast all the time.

they do serve them all day, and i concur with dendet's recommendation, the apple pancake is a favorite of mine..
i also really like the baked german pancakes that are served at dinah's.

would recommend avoiding the buttermilk pancakes, though and all pancake dishes that are based on them. nothing special there.

Oh yeah!! PDC at 4:00AM lusting for pancakes would be ideal. I, well, remember those days.
