Best Food Choices in Granada

  • 4

I am going to be eating my way around Granada in September while my husband bikes across the Pyrenees. Any suggestions for restaurants and markets/food shops would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for cooking classes. On a non-food note, does anyone have a good guide for the Alhambra?

  1. Free tapas abound in Granada... stop for a cerveza or sangria everywhere you can to sample the goods!

      That's all I did...loved it.

I've been to the Alhambra twice -- I think the only guide that I had might've been in whatever travel book I had at the time.

    2. Before you go, you should read the "Tales of the Alhambra" by Washington irving. Easy to get from Amazon... You should not need a guide book after that.

      1. Try Macena de las Monjas Plaza Padre Saurez, our Menu del dia was one of the best meals ever.
