Trip's Tavern in Harrison

Anyone tried this place on Halstead since the ownership and name change. It used to Wellington's.

I could be wrong, but I don't think there has been an ownership change. I believe it is the same place with the same menu.

The menu is similar. However, there has been an ownership change. A former Wellington's chef Johnny Trip bought the business. The former owner of Wellington's now runs the place up the street called "Powell's."

Oh, that is interesting. In any event, my husband was there for lunch recently. He said he thought they had gone downhill, and that he wasn't inclined to return.
