Tried the Chicken Bánh Mì over the weekend and it was pretty good...

I have wished for a place to get a decent Bahn Mi in Monmouth County so I was pleased to read this post but not really getting my hopes up. We tried the Classic Bahn Mi and the Grilled Pork Bahn Mi. They were both pretty good. The Grilled Pork comes with lettuce which is pretty unusual in my experience and I had them leave out. It also comes with avocado which I left in and was a nice addition. The rolls were good, the meat and vegetables were good but both sandwiches were a little drier than I'd prefer. While not as good as what is available in Brooklyn or Philadelphia they are both worth getting and I'm glad they are available locally.

We also tried the Pho which again was good but not nearly as good as what you can get in Philly.

The bread is good but nowhere near the light yet tasty bread Ive had at O sandwiches or that place in Brooklyn. This bread was a bit bland and heavy...but dont get me wrong!!! it was quite good. I loved the avocado on their Bahn Mi.

I agree they seem a bit dryer than I'd like. Luckily I got them as take-out and a bit of mayo and a squirt of Siracha remedied that...
