Tom Colicchio on the cover of Guitar Aficionado

So, I was just browsing through the magazine rack when I saw the cover of this new magazine called Guitar Aficionado. There is Chef Tom with one of his guitars.

From the article inside, it says that he hasn't been playing very long but he does have pretty expensive tastes, he is a collector now.

The perks of his status now is that he is getting personal guitar lessons from Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna. the other perk is that he met the CEO of Martin guitars at his restaurant and now he has a foot in the rarified world of luthiers.
They do talk about his restaurants, but in a cursory way. He did make the comparison of making music being like cooking.
