"Mia & Grace" in Muskegon, MI

I recently ate at Mia & Grace ( http://miaandgrace.com/ ) in Muskegon, MI. I had the Duck PB&J and the Salted Butterscotch Pudding. Both of them blew my mind. I wish I lived in that area so I could eat there everyday.

I also enjoyed the "Taste of Muskegon" event that was going on downtown during my stay in Michigan. Muskegon has some great restaurants!

Well, to be honest I only enjoyed the food at ToM. The experience itself was a bit stressful because the weather was so burning hot.

  1. Mia & Grace is a gem, with seriously high-level cooking producing fantastic food at reasonable prices.

Local friends took us there, where we had superb gnocchi, housemade sausage with risotto, flattened chicken, and perfectly-cooked crusted salmon. The carrot soup (with roasted garlic and, I think, truffle oil?) was beyond words. We finished by sharing a heavenly Two-Tone Crème Brulee.

Sadly, it seems that getting a liquor license in Muskegon is problematic, so we couldn't enjoy wine with our memorable meal. Nevertheless, Mia & Grace is well worth a special trip. I hope that the fortunate folks there recognize and support this treasure.
