Kings Arms in Williamsburg?

Heard recommendation for Kings Arms tavern in Colonial Williamsburg. Could someone clarify -- Is this within the grounds of Colonial Williamsburg -- will we have to pay to enter village to eat at this restaurant?

We ate at King's Arms for Thanksgiving 2 years ago- delicious and fabulous atmosphere- we had tickets but only b/c we were there for the weekend

We would love to reply! Colonial Williamsburg is one of our favorite places. The restaurants run by CW Foundation are open to the public, ususally reservations needed, but you do not have to buy any admission tickets to Colonial Williamsburg itself. Call 1-800 History to get started with your reservations, and also ask them where to park more conveniently. Side note: at some time, do buy an admission ticket and enjoy more of the Colonial Williamsburg experience! In fact, when you call that 800 number, ask if there are any special events going on later in the evening that could tie into your dining trip. For a few more dollars, you might enjoy a candlelight debate at the House Of Burgesses just up the street! Don't get me started- we love this place. Hope you do, too.
