Help! I need some quick dinner recommendations. My future in-laws are in town and I've been tasked (5 hours before dinner) to pick a place and set up the res.

Thing is, there are some limitations (I know you like a challenge!). No sushi or Asian food (we are Asian and love it, but just not tonight). One person doesn't eat seafood or pork at all, so it can't be a seafood place or a pork place. Has to have some non meat and fish options since my baby mama has the 24hr morning sickness and can only stomach bland stuff right now. Her dad likes Italian.

They are currently in Glendale, and I'm at work in Beverly Hills, so somewhere that isn't too far for them is best. Oh yeah, and there are eight of us, and we would like to eat at 7pm tonight.

The earliest table at either of the Mozza's is at 11.30pm and Campanile has been vetoed. Angelini Osteria can't seat us until 9.30.

I'm open to anything at this point. It should be nice, but doesn't have to be super nice.

Thanks guys, I know you can do it!

How about Pasadena? I haven't been to Celestino, but it's one of the Drago restaurants and it has a 7 pm reservation available through Open Table. You might also try Parkway Grill. I haven't been there in a long time, but it was always dependable.

Downtown also might be a good location. Maybe call Drago Centro. Roy's is Asian-influenced, but ranges from fish to meat. You may have difficulty downtown with pre-event dinners, so 7 pm could be difficult.

There also is Morton's, which has locations in Burbank and Downtown.

Thanks guys! Celestino sounds like a good bet. It's close to where they are, and seems pretty solid.
