Who has the best lobster rolls in Ogunquit

Looking for great lobster rolls in Ogunquit or Perkins Cove

  1. I don't do lobster rolls much but can say that the one at the Village Market in the center is quite good. On the other hand, the "famous" voted #1 supposedly at the Rose Cove cafe in the center is not very good at all and is served on a hamburger bun. Have not had it but the Cove Cafe on the right hand side as you enter Perkins Cove has a family member with a lobster boat and I have heard that their lobster roll is excellent. They also make a terrific breakfast- they close after lunch, mid-afternoon.

I'll vouch for the Rose Cove cafe. Lobster roll is generous and delicious. VERY friendly service with a little fudge to sweeten the experience. Will be there soon!

So far Rose Cove lobster rolls have also been my favourite. was just wondering if there were any other places I needed to try.

    2. Barnacle Billy's ($18 with chips) or Fox's Lobster a few miles south of Oqunquit at Nubble light ($17 with fries).

      Barnacle Billy's
50 70 Perkins Cove Rd, Ogunquit, ME

      Fox's Lobster House
8 Sohier Park Rd, York, ME

It has been reported to me that the lobster roll at 5'O should be avoided.

The burger, the fish sandwich, the attentive bar staff - all fantastic.

        The lobster roll
        not so much

In Perkins Cove, skip the lobster roll at the Lobster Shack and have a very affordable chili dog!

So I guess I have no answer for you!
