MSP-CUP AND CONE

Anyone else LOVE this place?? We went for the first time tonight in White Bear Lake. We brought a picnic and enjoyed it by the lake, then went for ice cream. I had a coconut dipped cone (dipped in a sort of vanilla dip with toasted coconut chunks, and my husband got a SMALL (It was really big for a small!) blueberry raspberry malt, which wasn't even liquid. It was basically large amounts of wonderful soft serve with fresh blueberry and raspberries mixed in. We spent time watching the whole town come by, dogs and kids and all! A baby cone (for the real little ones) is thirty cents, and just about right for our munchkin. The total for three was...wait for it...three fifty!! Who knew that was hiding right next to Maplewood?

I haven't been there in a while but yes, it's a great place. I've only had ice cream things there--haven't tried their food.

A few years ago when the neighboring strip mall development was happening, I was sure a little mom and pop operation like that would be swallowed up and turned into more parking lot. I'm willing to bet they were offered some sort of buyout but they held their ground.
