drove down Rt. 10 yesterday, and there was a sandwich board out front that said they are open for lunch & dinner.
however, i feel like this place needs to be flagged with a "downhill alert" warning, especially concerning the service. the last time we had dinner there, we ordered a bottle of wine. we waited...and waited...(it was one of those days where DH really needed that first glass)...and finally the young waiter came back with a different bottle, which he had already begun to open, saying, "oh, we were out of the one you wanted, this one is similar." as DH started to open his mouth in amazement, the waiter hastily added, "don't worry, it's the same price," totally not getting the point that we could have picked out something else if he had just brought back the wine list rather than taking it upon himself to choose for us.
and then dinner took forever.

Terrazza Italia is in my opinion just average. There is nothing wrong here but there is no attempt anything creative or different. Solid but unspectacular. I much prefer Metro Bis and Amelia in Simsbury.

I think there is much wrong with it.
We had two unfortunate meals there and have not been back. Service was sub-par on both visits and the second visit, we left without eating what was served to us. My dining partner's food was frozen on the first try and just barely cooked on the second.
It is a shame since my first meal there when they first opened was wonderful.

this is in response to the post that the restaurant has closed. I heard they are re-opening it and that the grand opening is next week. does anyone know if they are keeping the same name? if not what is the new name?
