Tampa's Cocktail Culture
Tampa has a lack of quality bartenders, and I should probably define "quality" before I go any further. A great personality is a must, but just as important is a sense of quality and a vast knowledge of the craft. Add atmosphere, clean glassware, an interesting drink list, fresh squeezed juices, good music, engaging patrons, and you will keep my attention. A great bartender will deliver an experience, not just a drink!
That being said, we have a lot of good bartenders in the bay area. I wanted to start this thread to find out where to start spending my time and my hard earned cash. Give me your suggestions and tell me why you think the term quality should be attached to your bar of preference. Be fair and kind. This is meant to be a post to promote good will and encourage the growth in a cocktail culture in Tampa.
Thank you for reading my first post.

Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I had one of the best martinis of my life at Aquaknox on Friday night. Grey Goose Vodka, perfectly chilled and garnished with Caviar, Lobster and Shrimp stuffed olives--a very sophisticated take on a "drink and a nibble" served up in a chic atmosphere. It was my first time there, but I'll definuetly be back. Service was impeccable.
