      Something reasonable for Italian....20 bucks?

For the pasta or for the entire meal?

At that price or just slightly higher you could do Babbo or most of the other top Italian restaurants.

For about $25 Scarpetta has homemade pasta and IMHO much better than Babbo's. (i'm about to get rotten tomatoes thrown at me) but I ate at both restos within a month and Scarpetta's was just sooo much more worth it

agreed on Scarpetta - for fresh pasta, it doesn't get much better.

      2. Via Emilia's homemade pastas are excellent, the lasagna being the standout. No reservations accepted and cash only.

        1. You can get some delicious homemade pasta at Malatesta for about $15 a plate.

            Convivio....excellent pastas!

          2. Puttanesca in HK....Inexpensive and they have a whole fresh pasta section on the menu.

            1. Da Andrea on West 13th (5th-6th) has great and very reasonably priced fresh homemade pasta!
