Sunday breakfast in Memphis?

We are overnighting at the Madison on a Saturday and are looking for a great Sunday breakfast, either near the hotel/downtown, or headed east toward Nashville. Automatic Slim's looks great, but they don't open until 10am and we were hoping for something a little earlier. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  1. Try Brother Junipers near the University. They open at 8am and it's a quick drive from their to the highway to get to Nashville. The breakfast is awesome- you won't regret it.

    1. Ditto on Brother Juniper's. It's NOT to be missed!

      1. Bosco's on the square has some really good sunday brunch items as well. I havent lived in Memphis for about 5 years, but my favorite used to be eggs benedict with some fried oysters on top.

        1. Bryant's Breakfast on Summer Avenue- best breakfast in the world, bar none. If you aren't very hungry, get a country ham, egg and cheese on a biscuit. Total perfection, nothing better.

If you are really hungry, get the "sampler" breakfast- I can pretty much guarantee that you will skip lunch...
