She is very prolific, so I get lots of the stinky, stinky fruit all over my backyard. To me, the mess and the stench is a huge nuisance, and even makes my backyard unusable for 6 weeks or so every fall. But... One man's nuisance is another's gold, and inside each of those smelly fruits is a great Asian delicacy -- the Gingko nut, with all its cooking and medicinal uses (its even an aphrodesiac!). I also understand that fresh Ginkgo nuts are hard to find in stores, so here is my offer: If you're so inclined, they can ALL be yours. we're talking exclusive access! There is one condition: you have to take them ALL, and you have to come regularly to do so. Any takers? Located in Oak Park. Being of asian heritage, I have found them extrmely useful in congree preparations. I wonder if you could just haul them to a herbalist, and offer to trade them for something else, like dried shitakes? I"d take 'em, but Canada border services might smell the stash....
