Best Halo-Halo in LA?

  • 7

Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for Halo-Halo in the Greater Los Angeles area? Either traditional style or variants.

Who has the best?

Who has the most unique?

Who has the most interesting ingredient(s)?

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.

  1. I like the one that they serve at Max's (of Manila) in Glendale.

    1. Dunno if it's the best, but the halo halo at Goldilock's is pretty darn good.

      1. Ive been looking for one too but the ones I found are just not as good as the ones up north where they have a huge filipino community (Daly City). We dont have many filipino joints in the LA area..

          Thanks for the suggestions.

Doing a search I also found mention of Manila Sunset in Panorama City and Arko Foods International in Glendale.

Any thoughts on those two?, any others?

Here's a handy map of Filipino restaurants (non-turo-turo) in SoCal:

BTW...there are more Filipinos in LA than the Bay Area...we're just more spread out.

          2. I like the Halo Halo at Gerry's Grill in Artesia.
