Good Asian near the Pan Pacific hotel
Hi
we are passing through Vancouver tomorrow , sadly only for a day. We are Australians with a wide experience of great asian food, with catholic tastes.
Have just spent 3 months touring Europe and North America , and seriously starved of good asian food.
Would like recs for a really good Hong Kong style yum cha , and for dinner something at the spicy end , say hawker style malysian/nonya or (if really good) Japanese.Preferably( but not mandatory) near the Pan Pacific, which I gather is on the Bay downtown.
Have heard very good things about Vancouver ethnic food , hope to prove them right!

Imperial Chinese restaurant inside the marine builing at 355 Burrard...... the dim sum is crazy good, scallop dumpling, mixed seafood dumplings etc.....things i have never found anywhere elkse
