Yummy Sunday brunch/lunch near Union Station/Royal York Hotel?

Hi, I need your thoughts and advice on the following:
Meeting up with mother and siblings for Sunday/brunch. She's staying at the Royal York, and isn't keen on going too far, via taxi or on foot.
Is there anywhere unpretentious and with good, good food nearby?
Our usual is Levesque's, and I tend/try to avoid the downtown.

Beerbistro at King and Yonge has a pretty decent brunch and is a bit more relaxed than the RY, both in atmosphere and price. But I agree that Epic would be good as well.

i've had easter brunch at epic before. and it was pretty good.

I like the breakfast at the Royal York -- the restaurant downstairs. I end up meeting there for breakfast meetings often and I think it's really good -- possibly "good-good" even as per your request!

Do you mean the pub or Epic? I don't remember either having breakfast. Eager to hear.
