Wrigley Area Rec for Apps and cocktails for pre-Elton John concert?
I am looking for an upscale restaurant for appetizers and cocktails for a group of 12 prior to the Elton John/Billy Joel concert at Wrigley Field. Some place that has great food, and good size list of apps, with fun, lively atmosphere (possibly outdoors?)
I am unfamiliar with Wrigley, as I stay close to home in bucktown....any thougths are greatly apprecited. Short cab ride ok. Thank you!

Uncommon Ground is a great place. Food quality and ingredient choice is very good, a very fun/casual atmosphere. they also have a patio. I really appreciate their beer selection, so if you have any beer nerds in the party of 12, they will be pleased. I don't know what their app selection is like - may want to research.

Try Twist. It's a tapas place a few blocks south of Wrigley Field. There is a large lounge sectional area by the entrance that is good for bigger groups.
Rockit has a new location just up the block from Wrigley. I haven't been there, but am guessing it is similar as the one downtown.
Further west, how about Coobah? Great cocktails. And any place that is Latin fusion is always fun.
