Scoping a Roasting Pan

Looking for a versatile roasting pan than can do the birds and beefs as well as searing/sauteing large amounts of vegetables and proteins atop the range. I'm looking to not spend too much more than $125 and I want stainless steel with core of aluminum in between.

  1. Depending on how big you are looking for, I'd recommend looking at the Calphalon tri-ply stainless everyday pan. I use it as a roaster and it works beautifully as well as the stove top application of course. It is 12" round so if you are looking at big turkeys it probably wouldn't work for you. If you are mostly looking at chickens, ducks, etc then it works perfectly.
