Mina's Bourbon Steak in Aventura has a real Midtown Manhattan feel-- like a big, dark and sexy version of the original Four Seasons at E52nd. Chef Allen's, also in Avenutra, is a great option for all manner of celebration. But my favorite would be Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach. Enjoy!

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding anniversary at Eduardo de San Angel on Oakland Park Blvd in Ft Lauderdale. Not a beautiful location but a spectacular restaurant. The service was excellent and the food fabulous.

I must agree. Had an opportunity to go as a guest on "Check please! South Florida." One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Loved the cilantro soup. And it is intimate, too.

Baleen in Grove Isle (Coconut Grove) is romantic. So is Red Fish Grill on Old Cutler.

I second that... Azul is great and it is very romantic. However, make sure that you ask that they give you a table that is not by the emergency exit. That happened to us on our anniversary - there was a bar sticking out that was about 2 inches away from my cheek. I asked to be moved to another table and they were happy to move us, but I would have been pretty upset if we paid that much for a meal and had a horrible table.

Definitely agree on Casa Tua and Azul.....Have multiple meals at both....with great success....Would also recommend Barton G's on the west side of Miami Beach.....Some have thrown rocks at Barton G's here but we went there with a fairly large party and had a memorable evening....The food was very, very good...if not great....And the presentation of the food was over the top making it a great overall experience.....Barton G's is an amazing place for a special birthday or anniversary.....

Besides the food being not good at Barton G, it is not a romantic place. It is one of those see and be seen places and it is loud. Casa Tua has better food but still merely good and not worth the money. However, it will be hard to beat the ambiance.

I am not at all a fan of the food at Barton G; I do like the physical space itself but would also tend to agree that (even if you don't care about or disagree with my opinion of the food, which of course is anyone's prerogative ) it's still more conducive to a birthday party / celebration type dinner, rather than a quiet romantic one.
