Late June seasonal/local menu ideas (NY - Long Island)
I am planning a wedding to be held way out on Long Island (Shelter Island) not far from plenty of farms offering fresh fruits and vegetables. We have pretty much free reign over the menu and I am somehow coming up blank. All I can think of is gazpacho, which I don't even really like. There will be over 100 people so I was trying to think of appetizers and entrees that can be prepared for a crowd and will take advantage of what is available locally. Sorry for such a general question, but I really do appreciate any suggestions.
