You've tried all these bakeries and can confirm that their rugelach is both recommendable and made with cream cheese?!

This list is extensive but I find it hard to believe that all of these places make amazing rugelach, the old fashioned way. I know for a fact that the ones available at maxies in the Cavendish mall are just standard fare. The only place on the list that might have real rugelach is Adar - but even then if they are Pareve, no go. And REAL bagel on Queen Mary, ugh.

There used to be a great bakery on Decarie near Queen Mary, and if I recall they had yummy rugelach as well - it was called Renfell's. Apparently it's still around - has anyone been lately? It's also kosher, though, so maybe no cream cheese either.

Cheskies on Bernard has awesome rugelach. Several flavours, incl. raspberry/walnut, chocolate, cinnamon, plain.

Don't know for sure if they're made with cream cheese, but they're certainly delish.

I'm pretty sure that Cheskie's is a pareve bakery so that would mean no dairy.

Yup. Cheskies does not use cream cheese in their rugelach. They are still tasty, but I definitely prefer the cream cheese ones.

But now I am confused. They do seem to sell a few items with cream cheese, like cheese cake and the cheese crowns. Am I incorrect in assuming that these items have cheese in them?
