Dinner in Provincetown
My girlfriend and I are taking a trip to Cape Cod in August. We're planning on staying a night in Provincetown, and I'm looking for a nice spot for dinner. Type of cuisine is pretty wide open, but a place which uses/features local ingredients would be welcome. Pricewise, entrees in the high teens-mid twenties would be best, but that's not a hard and fast restriction. Also, something more modern than a traditional seafood place would be great. Hope it's not too many details; hopefully that will help all you fine people narrow it down. Thanks in advance!
Well it's been awhile since I've been to P-Town, but I always liked Ross's Grill. Food was creative, atmosphere upscale casual. Waydowntown is a nice spot as well. When you first walk in you see a deli case with pizza slices, but then as you move further into the restaurant there is a small bar, followed by a dining room. Past the dining room is a small porch where you can dine right on the beach. The last time I was there I enjoyed a lovely fondue, along with a few appetizers, but it was the porch that made it seem special. Just as an FYI though, you may want to post to the New England board to see if you get more responses.
