Gourmet Lunches in Sydney

Hi all,

I've just moved to Sydney and have the pleasure of job hunting :(

Though not all bad since I will have plenty of time to look around the city before I get tied down 9 to 5.

So since I have this free time are there any great value gourmet lunches or lunchtime only venues that I should try?

thanks

Fergal

  1. Hi Fergal,

I believe a couple of places are now doing set lunches on fridays, one i have visited and rated highly was Assiette, think about $35 for 3 courses

I also know that Marque now does such an offer, amazing write up in the herald

Also check out Aria, and read the SMH or Cuisine magazine, both good for their food.

Other top tip would be pie night at the Lord Nelson, around $8 for pie and a pint, microbrewery pub in the Rocks, good beer!

    Good luck job hunting

It seems like a lot of places only do lunch on fridays. Sydney is clearly a hard-working city!
