I find Malibu seafood to be horrendous. Same goes for Reel Inn. Maybe the places in San Pedro are a little better.

Malibu seafood has one very delicious item: Fried Scallops. I don't care much for their fried fish but fried scallops and decent french fries combined with fun beach shack atmosphere make for a solid day by the ocean.

I actually like Maiibu Seafood. The location, grilled fish and BYOB all add up to a good meal. People bring their own table cloths, dessert, stemware and candles its a hoot.. I would check it out sometime. The portions are large so I would normally split an entree with my dining companion and order 2 starters or so.. Just watch for the parking. the lot on the far right is state park property and would be fined without the proper pay permit. Take a walk on the beach after as I do, its fun..

A second for Quality Seafood. Highest quality product, but some prices can be a bit high. The 25+ types of oysters alive in the saltwater tanks can't be beat.
