Finally made it to this classic dive last weekend. It is only open until 2PM on Saturdays and stopping there never quite came together before.

The tiny restaurant serves only burgers and fresh cut fries, but they are both about as good as it gets. And they are served with an attitude.

Here are my photos and longer review. I hope to get back there soon. http://www.kansastravel.org/wichita/bomberburger.htm

My husband and I loved this place. The burgers were gigantic, flavorful and most importantly worth the drive. DH especially loved hearing stories from the chef/owner.

I didn't write it down, so I don't recall every item, but do remember that it included grilled jalapeno and mayonnaise . The Rothelisburger is a double Gumby.

My husband and I ate there this weekend. Loved it! Yes, my arm stuck to the wall when I leaned on it, and yes, looking up at the grimy ceiling was a mistake, but man, that was a good burger!

When you say "served with an attitude", what exactly do you mean? Served with a Gate's kind of attitude or like a 1950's diner waitress attitude, calling everyone sweetie? Just want to be prepared!

More like the attitude at Mel's Diner in the old Alice TV show. Gruff sounding but not harsh. For example, on the menu sign it says "cash only - dumb ass."

We were just there this weekend (great as always) and to give you an idea of "gruff" after a phone order was taken the cook would crack jokes about them (there was some cursing fyi if you have kids or care) but it was funny and great food.
