Weekday Lunch

I'm looking for a lovely weekday lunch. I am in Ottawa on work and this will be my one indulgence. I'm vegetarian, will be dining alone and I'm looking for casual chic. I really liked Black Cat Cafe the last time around but they don't do lunch :-( Locations near Parliament Hill / University of Ottawa would work best. Thanks in advance!

If you're willing to go just a bit further, Zen Kitchen, a "high-end vegetarian" restaurant, just opened on 27 June. I'm not sure if they're open for lunch, but you could check out their website:

I haven't had the chance to eat there yet, but I sampled some of their food at Ottawa's Vegfest, and it was delicious. Here are a few quotes from a recent review in the Ottawa Citizen:

"We sampled and enjoyed so many dishes at our table, I have space to cite only a few. Pity.
I particularly enjoyed a starter of tomato pesto tartlett where the fruit was slow-roasted to concentrate its flavour, served with pesto cheese, acidulated daikon, caramelized onions and marinated olives – really, a symphony of flavours, textures and colour......Among the mains, I was served a substantial portion of seitan piccata with lemon caper sauce perched on a bed of spiced rice fragrant with caraway, alongside fresh asparagus and baby carrots."
