Birthday Dinner with Friends- Wine Bar

My husband and I are planning to do a joint birthday celebration with our friends. We love wine and wine bars. Anyone have suggestions of a cute restaurant/wine bar where we can get a big table or area and order wine and small plates to share? It can be a restaurant or a bar type atmosphere. We want a place that doesn't require a pre-fixe menu. It will probably be around 15-20 people Thanks!

I reccommend Degustation restaurant and wine bar. It is also very reasonably priced.

For 15-20 people? It's a food bar where diners are seated side-by-side. Not conducive to a group that size or a party where people would want to interact.

Alta is a great place for this. It has a very fine wine and cocktail list and specializes in small plates. You can order the "whole shebang" which is one of every thing on the menu and then order additional dishes you like. Go to Alta!
