Sunday night in Birmingham

We are looking for a good restaurant in the Birmingham area, open on Sunday evenings. It appears that most of the ones discussed on the boards close on Sundays.

Jinsei and Chez Lulu may be the only non-chain good choice on Sundays. I hear Fire closed.

Fire closed?! I just bought a gift certificate for there from birminghammenus last week. This happened to me with Local, too. Where did you hear this, Dax?

The coupon's still good, bovinekid. I just called over to Fire and they're still open. As an FYI: They won't be open for brunch this Sunday because of the July 4th holiday, but will resume brunches the Sunday after (that was my pretense to call instead of: "Hey, I hear you closed.")

Yes, Table closed. It has been replaced by Dyron's, which specializes in lowcountry food. I have not been yet, but would be interested to hear from anyone who has.

Dyron's is great- great prices- great service Great food- everyone I talk to really likes it!!

Food at Dyron's is delicious. Service is horrible. Our waiter tried to be funny but came across VERY rude. There were 6 of us and not one order came out right. They were corrected pretty quickly, which made we wonder why we had to wait so long for our food in the first place. I hope they have worked the kitchen and server kinks out because the food really was great!
