Groupon today is offering a $20 gift certicate for just $10 to Nonna's Italian Pizzeria‏. I rode my bike by Nonna's on Segwick just south of North Ave. However, they were not yet open and couldn't get a good idea if the place is worth trying. Anyone been there and willing to give some feedback? Thanks!

Hey Sobaguy...thought I'd respond given the fact that I live within 2 blocks of this place. It's not worth a $10 coupon unless you are getting a $10 meal and can get back $10 in cash. Tonight we ordered 2 large pizzas (they are either 12"/14" I can't remember which) and it came out to $50!!!

One veggie and one with sausage and pepperoni--- It's not like I ordered a clam pie or pizza with fresh bufala mozzarella..just plain old thin crust with cheese so low quality then when you took a bite the whole thing slid off the pizza crust.

if you are in a bind and need pizza quick they are definitely quicker than Lou Malnati's or Giordano's....but I'd rather eat a Pizza Hut personal pan pizza.

Thanks for the advice on skipping the $20 coupon. I never went ahead and ordered the gift certificate and sounds like a made a good decision.
