Tamale Lady? (NE PDX)
yesterday i was driving down killingsworth near PCC and saw a woman waiting for the bus with a blue cooler and a sign, 6 tamales for $5.. i'm pretty sure she had chicken, jalapeno, and something else according to her sign.
anyone ever encountered her? are the tamales any good? does she have a regular 'spot'?

I bought six Jalapeno tamales from her the other day for $3. They're small but the price is right. The masa was kind of dense but the flavor was good and I would definitely buy more. I think the meat ones are a little more expensive. I see her walking up and down Alberta Street pretty regularly.
