Rehearsal Dinner with Boiled Crawfish
I am looking for venues in New Orleans to host a rehearsal dinner for between 40 and 50 people in May 2010, preferably with boiled crawfish. I would prefer the venue to provide crawfish as one of many dining options for the non-mudbug lovers. We're hoping for a venue with an atrium, balcony, courtyard, garden, or other outside option, but we still want it to be intimate (i.e. - not in a park pavillion). Any ideas?

Off hand I cannot think of anythingfor public use that qualifies an intimate...The Paviliion of teh Two Sisiters at Audubon Park [ NOT THE SAME as the Court of Two Sisiters in the FQ] seems like what you want but it is fairly big--it will handle 200 with no problem--and has gardens all about. As to crawfish, well, you are pushing the end of the season and if the weather is hot early in the year, May crawfish might be too hard

Rosie's Jazz Hall is a nice space and I would imagine they could easily take care of you.
