The Perfect Burger-NYT
that was a weird article. the lead-in made it seem like it was going to be a review of DBGB (i get the NYT delivered every day, and in the print version the piece begins on the front page with that huge photo of the DBGB burger next to the first couple of paragraphs, while the rest of the article is continued on another page inside). i was really surprised that there was no mention of the Father's Office burger in Los Angeles. and as for the "tips" they got from the various chefs, i've seen quotes from Laurent Torondel in more than one publication that recommend dunking the patty in ice water before cooking, but there was no mention of it here.
i don't know why, but i just found it all sort of odd, and choppy. it didn't flow.
