Which De Lorenzo's is the correct one?
For my money, the Delorenzo's in Robbinsville is the best by a good margin for 3 reasons.
1) Its a much larger space than the others, it has more space and tables than either the one on Hamilton Ave or the original in Trenton (which has no restroom). Its simply a lot more comfortable
2) They serve excellent salads which are enough for 2-3 people. The mixed greens, seasonal and special salads are all different and a great start to the meal.
3) The pizza is more consistent than the other locations. Not that the other locations are highly variable but the Robbinsville place is always the same.
If you want to have a "Delorenzo experience" either have a plain, sausage or clam pie.
Better yet, get all three, what you don't eat you will be craving at home :)
We're there every couple of weeks.
Agreed with my friend tom246 about Robbinsville. Besides, at least they have a bathroom ;o)
Also agreed on the plain and sausage pies, but skip the clam as you will likely compare it unfavorably to the ones in New Haven. And, not that you will have any room, but there is a decent ice cream place in the same plaza in Robbinsville.
