40-something's birthday party

I’m throwing myself a birthday party this summer but need some assistance with finding the right restaurant.
I’m looking for a place that would be kid friendly but still have great food and atmosphere. There would be about 10 adults and 7 kids (ages range from 4yo-12yo), and I'd like to stick to a maximum of $30 per person incl. drinks.

Some ideas I had were Gus’s BBQ, Rhadika’s Indian food, or maybe Saladang. (I’m up to pretty much any kind of cuisine).
Though I prefer the Pasadena/Arcadia/Monrovia area, I’m open to suggestions between SG Valley and North OC.

Thank you for any help!

Did they add yet another inebriated goat? (I always found 3 goats 3 sheets to the wind were enough!)... ;-D>

Either 3 or 4, there would be too many drunken goats to be "kid friendly" :-)

            2. How about a Chinese banquet-style dinner at say a place like Lunasia, 888, or Ocean Star?

You could banquet menu for 10/table easily at $150-200 and come comfortably within your budget. With 17 people total, you could book 2 tables and even get a private room and then BYOB to cover the drinks.

OK, how about this. Adults go to 3 Drunken Goats and let the 12 year old take the kids across the street to Zekes BBQ. By the way, what is an extra goat one way or another?
