looking for the best Fish and Chips in PDX

so far Halibuts is top on my list- wondering if I am missing any

      Maybe it's worth pointing out that the Moon and Six and Horsebrass aren't nearly so smoky now, after the ban on smoking in bars went into effect.

        Great point. But I don't think Horse will ever remove that stinky carpet...

          Halibut's is slipping.
          Had the Alaskan Halibut tonight.
          It was soggy, not crispy!
          Will give them one more chance.
          Then will give HB a few tries.

      Horse Brass is a great place and really has no remnant of the previous smoke den. The fish and chips, however, are only OK.

      My favorite is Corbett Fish House, on SW Corbett or Hawthorne.

        yes, both good. Of course the location on Hawthorne is called Hawthorne Fish House, but same owners/food. I always like their fish.
