Southside Market is a close second. The Brisket has always been good too. You don't find sausage from Lockhart in you local HEB, but you do find sausage from both Meyer's and Southside. I don't really like the smoked sausage in the HEB, but the fresh sausage in the meat market, oh man, put that on the grill and live a little bit of heaven. I know it aint' good for you, but......... well sometimes you just gotta have it. I like the beef sausage best.
