The LOFT in Poulsbo

I have heard good and bad about the new place on the bay in Poulsbo. Anyone have any specific comments they can share?

    We went for the first time tonight. I ordered the chicken avocado melt ($11). I think it would have been good except the toast was burned and the fries were overcooked. The room was chilly.

    I would like to try it again this summer when we can eat out on the deck.

      I neglected to say in my review that the place was quite noisey. Waitress was quite pleasant.

      I have been there 3 times since they opened and found both food and service to be very good. One time I went with 4 friends and we sat on the deck and shared some appetizers (all the seafood appetizers are really good as well as the bruschetta). The margaritas were very good too. I've had dinner there with my parents, I get the Drunken Prawns which are my favorite, my father loves the Halibut & Chips, and my mom's fave is the Thai Chicken Salad. You can get appetizers, salads, sandwiches, or really nice entrees so I think there would be something that anyone would enjoy. Just be sure to have someone order the Prawns, those are soooo good.

        They are still under a litte bit of construction but I eaten there several times and enjoyed every bite!! The view from the deck is beautiful. The staff is friendly and attentive.
