Office Party (25 people) - Restaurant Suggestions?
Hi All -
Planning a summer office party with 25 people for a Friday night in July and need restaurant suggestions.
We'll be leaving work early and going on one of those big, red shiny, double-decker sightseeing buses that take you all around Manhattan. Then, we want to go somewhere for drinks & dinner.
Looking for a place with good food and a fun atmosphere that's not crazy expensive. Not everyone drinks a lot so we'll probably buy liquor on consumption and run up a tab, rather than have an all-inclusive price. Almost doesn't matter what kind of food... Asian, American, Italian, Mexican, etc. - most of it is ok. Not sure if we could get a private room or not? Don't want someplace that is too loud we can't hear each other.
Prefer to stay in lower Manhattan, Chelsea, Tribeca, Shoho, Village areas or around there.
Please reply ASAP as I need to start making phone calls & get a reservation.
Rgds,

Le Zie in Chelsea- has an upstairs room that can be used for parties and is a sort of trendy place but good food!

Our group of 30 had 2 different occasions at Fiddlesticks on Greenwich Ave. We had the semi-private room in the back and depending on the time of day shouldn't be too loud. I believe the manager's name is Derek. Good burgers and apps and they will work out drink tickets for your group too.
