Need Help! Top-Notch NC BBQ just off I-95??
It's a frequent commute, and I need a big-time North Carolina barbecue destination somewhere just off of I-95. Any ideas?

How far are you willing to go off of I-95? There's a place in the middle of the countryside south of Goldsboro, NC called Grady's BBQ. It's a real gem. One of the few pitmasters left who spends 12-15 hours of every day tending the swine over the wood coals. You may never want to eat BBQ ever again anywhere else once you try this place.
It'll cost you an additional 26 miles of driving distance over staying on I-95.
Here's a site that gives a good description of the place (which has no website of its own):

Follow the map below to pinpoint where it is. If you plug the address in directly, it won't work, so make sure to go to the intersection of Sleepy Creek Road and Arrington Bridge Road to find it:

Basically, coming south off of I-95, take I-795 south until it ends south of Goldsboro and a few more turns to get there, and then Hwy 13 west back to I-95 after you've eaten.
3096 Arrington Bridge Road
Dudley, NC 28333

Open until 3 p.m. Wednesday thru Friday (they’re open till 6 p.m. on Saturdays).
