My basil is coming in fast and furious. Does anyone know where to get bulk (read: cheap) pinenuts in Charlotte? Thanks!

Yeah I think you're right. I don't have a Costco membership anymore though.

      Have you tried Earth Fare?

I am not positive but I think I have seen them there...

Trader Joe's, or look for the Flavor Tree brand at Whole Foods Market

Trader Joe's is a great call.

I don't have an Earth Fare nearby plus I'm guessing TJs will be cheaper.

          Thanks everyone!

You also may want to check with Home Economist. They are owned by a company that imports packages and sells nuts. I find there nuts to be the freshest and most tasty I can find.

Home Economist is now called Healthy Home Market and they are owned by Tropical Fruit and Nut Company. You may be able to purchase them directly from the parent company. They are the largest distributer of bulk in the South, so it's probably where all of these places are purchasing their nuts.
