Miami Birthday Dinner..

Hi!

My boyfriend and I are going to be in Miami on a Friday night for his birthday and I would like to wow him with amazing food and a great ambiance. We are in our late 20's and appreciate fine dining but would also like to be somewhere that's funky, modern and fun. I don't mind spending $200 on dinner, but I want it to be worth it.

Thanks for your help!

    I would definitely stay away from Bond St Sushi. The location in Miami is super loud, crowded and the food is just ok. The drinks are great but that is about all that is going on there.

    A co-worker was just in Miami and had dinner at the following places and said they were great:
    Casa Tua (http://www.casatualifestyle.com/
    )Prime 112 (http://www.prime112.com

    )

    Not sure what the vibe is at either of these locations, but the food is suppose to be great.

      Funky, modern and fun would probably merit a trip to the Design District. As you will see all over the board, Michael's Genuine is probably the way to go with Pacific Time running in second place. Casa Tua will probably be closer to $200 per person than $200 and you run into the same problem in Prime 112 if it's only two people dining. It won't be $200 pp but being a steakhouse with oversized everything, the price/person drops as the table grows.
