Best French Fries in SF Valley???

I usually drive to Eagle Rock to Oinksters for their great French Fries with the garlic mayo dip.
Any places in the San Fernando Valley that has great french fries similar to Oinksters? Sherman Oaks,Studio City,Van Nuys,Encino,Northridge? Help me out. Thanks

  1. I don't think they have a garlic mayo dip, but Fab Hot Dogs has my new favorite fries.

    1. Well, if you like The Oinksters so much, have you tried the Belgian Fries at their sister restaurant in Sherman Oaks?

They were Carter's favorite fries in the SFV, maybe they still are ?

wow I had no idea they had another restaurant. Thanks for the heads up. Seems like a more formal restaurant though only open for dinner.

      2. I wish I could give you a place but the Oinksters are the best that I have tried. I did a taste test between Wurstk├╝che in L.A. and the Oinkster and the Oinkster won. I have not found anyone else that does them even close.

Yeah i think Islands restaurant chain has good fries. Not as good as Oinksters but location is convenient for me.

        2. la frite in woodland hills. although nothing else I've tried is very good.

          1. They're not like Oinkster's (which are worth the trip to Eagle Rock if that's your craving), but the fries at Springbok in Van Nuys are the best I've had in the Valley. They serve thick steak fries, which they make unbelievably crispy. And the cheesesteak is very tasty as well. There's no garlic aioli dipping sauce, though.
