Didn't realize I had to call 30 days exactly to snag a decent hour dinner reservation at Babbo. So we are looking for something similar - tasting menu is appealing, Italian, wine pairings, etc.
You might also consider the Enoteca at Del Posto. The dinner prix fixe is $52. I do not believe they offer wine pairings anymore though.
I like Babbo, but I think Scarpetta's better anyway. And you don't have to deal with the absurd reservation system or the dipshart shrew maitre d. Scarpetta's a cooler room too.
