Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Drinks Before Perilla

Finally chose the restaurant. Now I need a spot for drinks beforehand. Preferably one with either really good, interesting choice of beer, or classic cocktails. We tried the um, Blind Tiger? (Spotted Tiger? something with a tiger in it) last year (prior to Blue Hill) and it was so mobbed we had to leave, but any ideas? Thanks.

  1. I'm more of a wine drinker but you can try Half Pint for beer and Pegu club or Little Branch for cocktails.

    1. Lederhosen has a rather extensive selection of German beers. Vol de Nuit on West 4th showcases Belgians.
