Vintage, Woonsocket RI: New Chef?

I've read that the new owner of Vintage has hired a new exec chef for both Blue Grotto (Providence) and Vintage. Is Edie Banky still chef de cuisine at Vintage? Any other staff changes? Their new web site has just gone up; only the dinner menu is shown so far.

Yes, there is a new chef. Edie Banky is gone. There have been a few other staff changes (in the kitchen and in the front of the house). Many of the servers and bartenders are the same. There are a few new faces. The sushi chef is still there.

Thanks, Bluebird. Is Noel gone? He told us a while ago that the new management was looking to get rid of him.

Their revised web site does not show hours of operation and still lists Larry Lovejoy as manager.

Larry is gone. The mid-week dining special isn't being offered anymore and that is up on the website too. They are open Tuesday - Saturday. I don't know the hours. Hopefully they fix the website soon.

I am also thankful that Noel, the mime, is gone. Noel the person is much better!

So, if nobody likes mimes, why do they exist?

Someone there must be reading CH. They fixed their website and added hours, removed Larry and fixed the special offers.

Vintage is rockin'. Noel is still there full time, he nor the mgmt. have no intentions of him going anywhere. They have 1/2 price entrees tues. night. There isnt an entree over $20. filet's,tuna steaks, apps, pizza's etc.. I think they just opened 7 nights a week also. There's live jazz every thurs. night and live bands every fri. and sat. Definatly worth checking out.
