The information is pretty spotty, but I'm inclined to believe it hasn't hit the mass market yet. Actually, he finally came up with that he'd gotten them at "the dollar store" but he didn't say where, and I don't have a lot of confidence that he literally meant "The Dollar Store" and not just a dollar store-type store. Mars has been putting out these limited edition flavors but doesn't seem to promote them heavily. The raspberry ones, which were pretty good, I don't remember seeing promoted. The cherry ones (which weren't good) even less so. Until they ended up on close-out at Grocery Outlet, I didn't see the mint crispy ones in the Bay Area, only when I was in Philly. I'm sure eventually when the promotion is over the coconut will end up at Grocery Outlet, but I'm not that patient. Thanks for the Rite Aid tip, Laura! It's 11.80oz on Sale $2.49, regular price $3.69. I got it Fri night 7/17/09. Many bags there since there wasn't a sign for the coconut on sale (all the other flavors had their own signs).
