I had never thought to look for restaurant bargains on Craigslist. Now Golden Griddle is not my favourite place in the world, but others may be interested in an $8 ayce breakfast.

Honestly, I've been to that "buffet" - it's not even worth $8. You have to toast your own bread (and you pick the bread out of the bag, like, a Wonder Bread bag) and everything was disgusting (and I love buffets). It would be worth $4.99, nothing more.

Glad to see some things never change. I tried GG once in Belleville for lunch. It was truly awful. Somebody who shall remain nameless told me their breakfast was OK. Somehow I feel your response is the more accurate.

Is there a 'good' breakfast buffet within the GTA?

Typically not a big fan of the buffet, as I can't stand scrambled eggs cooked in bags, fake "whipped cream" and "maple syrup", and all the nonsense on offer, but I have been to the Hot House Café a number of times, not recently though, and enjoyed the selection on offer for their brunch buffet, which I think is only offered on Saturdays or Sundays -- not sure. Not everything is good, but there is a lot to choose from. It's not $8.00, mind you. More like $25.00

Here's a thread:

Lunch at Golden Griddle in Mississauga was, by a huge margin, the worst meal I had while living in the GTA. I used to like their breakfast buffet, but that was when I was 13, so I can't comment on it now.

I have never had GG buffet and I can't say I am a buffet expert but any breakfast buffet I have ever been to I had to make my own toast (maybe never bread right out of the bag). I have to admit that I hate buffets and rarely eat them. They tend to be the only breakfast option at all-inclusive resorts and the only time I ever eat from the trough as it were.
