Any suggestions on which for dinner with a friend. Have not been to these yet and can not decide. Thanks

Have been to Aldea & Minetta.....rec. Aldea if you want a polished, nuanced meal....Minetta if you want a superstar hamburger.

Thank you so much. We are going to Aldea. I will report back after the meal....which won't be until the middle of July, but looking forward.

We've not been to any of the three, but without a moment's hesitation, I'd pick Aldea. *Every* report I've read so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Aldea's Chef/owner George Mendes' last position was as Chef de Cuisine at one of our favorite restaurants, Tocqueville, so it's no suprise to me that he's garnering raves at his own place. If you go, I hear *the* dish to get is the Arroz de Pato.

I haven't been to any of these yet, either, but I would choose Aldea. I'm a big fan of George Mendes' cooking.

Thanks. I am holding the reservation at Aldea and will see if we can get Minetta.

Go to minetta if you like dinner at 5:30 or 11:30

I don't know about Minetta or Aldea - other hounders will be able to suggest but I can tell you to not bother with DBGB.

            Overall it is just underwhelming
